Neighbours Descend on Charleson Park for the 4th Annual False Creek South Grill & Chill
And the music goes on in False Creek South!
Live music by Wayne Croppo and Joe Bourchier (with special guest vocals from Sharon Craig) from Marine Mews, childrens’ excitement with the slip and slide and piñata, and an array of delicious salads and dishes to accompany the BBQ all contributed to an excellent and fun community event organized by the Neighbourhood Association.
The day could not have been better at Charleson Park. Grafted with colourful balloons and a Hammock Grove, Nine Tree Hill offered a relaxed ambience to the event.
People arrived and lay down their blankets close to neighbours while they sipped on juice, munched on a “healthy” veggie or meat burger and enjoyed familiar songs from R&B to classic rock. The burger flippers, through the thick smoke of delicious food, enjoyed chatting with attendees waiting anxiously for their burger!
