The Province’s new housing program – BC Builds – is funding a new co-op on City-owned land in Yaletown. The nine-storey concrete building, with 112 new homes, will be a passive-house structure at the corner of Davie and Seymour.

The Province’s $500-million Rental Protection Fund has provided up to $71 million to enable the protection of 290 existing co-op units in the 40-year-old Tri-Branch and Garden Court co-ops in Coquitlam. The two co-ops were purchased by the Community Land Trust of the Co-op Federation of BC.
