Dear Neighbour,

You will by now have received a letter from the City of Vancouver inviting you to attend an

information session on how staff plans to work with all of us to resolve the issues arising from

lease expiry.

Your *RePlan delegate strongly encourages to you attend a session to ask questions, offer your

opinion and show the City how much we care about our neighbourhood.

All the meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn, 711 West Broadway, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Each

enclave has a specific meeting date; however, if you are not able to attend at that time, feel free

to come to another meeting:

  • May 16: Heather Point, Market Hill, Creek Village, 658 Leg-in-Boot

  • May 17: Spruce Village, Marine Mews, 609 Stamp’s Landing, Monks O

  • May 23: Fountain Terrace, Harbour Terrace, Alder Bay Place

  • May 24: Mariner Point, The Lagoons

These meetings will give us information on the framework City staff will be presenting to

Council on May 31st to, as their letter said, “facilitate fruitful negotiations between False Creek

South strata leaseholders and the City”.

Your participation will help to ensure the framework will lead to solutions that:

  • Provide affordable options for lease renewal

  • Protect our equity

  • Enable us to maintain our buildings

  • Give us long-term certainty of ownership
